Originally named the Northern Massachusetts Telephone Workers Credit Union (NMTW), Align Credit Union was the provider of better financial resources for phone company employees and families. Founded in 1922 and one of the strongest financial institutions in the region by 2005 they’ve seen membership continue to grow.

As a result they’ve extended criteria for membership to anyone who lives, works or attends school in communities throughout Eastern Massachusetts and Southern New Hampshire. In 2013, they changed their name to Align Credit Union, as a way to better communicate who they are, where they’ve come from and where they’re going. As Align, members are still at the core of everything they do.

“We can do everything the big banks can, while delivering an experience perfectly tailored to you and your needs.” explains Charlotte Arivella, AVP, Branch Manager of the Amesbury Align branch.

Why Amesbury?

The branch opened in fall of 2013, after becoming Align Credit Union officially, in the greater Amesbury area on Haverhill Rd. In a vibrant community, home to a great member base right in Amesbury, the location is very accessible and convenient to all. The community is very tightknit and thriving with rich history welcoming to all.

“As a chamber member we have been able to enhance our brand awareness as a newer financial institution in the area.” explained Arivella. “We appreciate the work that the Chamber does to connect businesses to the community-at-large. Through events and networking opportunities, the Chamber actively looks for ways to help businesses reach their goals.”
