The Amesbury Chamber of Commerce has partnered with Munters Corporation to bring Oktoberfest to Amesbury!

Amesbury Oktoberfest will run from September 17th -23rd, 2022 and features fun events, delicious food, and of course top-notch beer.

Many of our local breweries and businesses have been celebrating Oktoberfest for years and so we’re pleased be able to join forces with them to expand the fun for this weeklong schedule of events that highlight some of the businesses and organizations that make Amesbury so awesome.

Oktoberfest began in Munich, Germany in 1810 to celebrate the royal wedding of the crown prince of Bavaria to Princess Therese von Sachsen-Hildburghausen and has grown into a annual festival that is lovingly copied around the world. This year we’re excited to bring more of the festivities to Amesbury where we are fortunate to share an abundance of great food, drinks, community and hospitality that are the pillars of Oktoberfest.

While Oktoberfest is rightfully associated with beer Amesbury Oktoberfest has something on the schedule for everyone. Keep an eye on the schedule as more events may be added.

In the meantime, you can pick up a free Oktoberfest passport and collect stamps from local businesses. Turn the passport in to the Amesbury Chamber office by October 5th, and every stamp will earn you an entry into a drawing for many neat prizes, gift cards, and more. Learn more HERE.
