The Hiller Companies, Inc. is a national leader in the fire protection and security industry and has an immediate opening for a qualified Fire Alarm Technician & Installer in Amesbury, MA.


State Fire Equipment Certificate of Competency and/or System Technician License
Experience working in the service and inspection of non‐water based fire suppression and fire alarm systems
Working knowledge of NFPA codes and standards for non‐water based fire suppression and fire alarm systems
Strong work ethic and integrity
Detail oriented and strong problem solving skills
Proficient in the use of personal computer programs such as Word, Exel, & Outlook
Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing.
Perform work in unusual and sometimes difficult positions such as climbing ladders, scaffolding, and lift equipment.
Working knowledge of test equipment such as a digital multimeter.
Electrical construction knowledge and good work ethics.

Duties and responsibilities include the following.
Other duties may be assigned.
Direct report to Supervisor
Read and interpret blueprints
Understand the “Scope of Work” for all projects
Perform other duties assigned, including attending training classes
Ability to lift and move equipment and tools weighing up to 50lbs.
Complete vehicle reports in a timely manner.
Maintain accurate truck inventory.
Ability to work well with others.

Certifications for Notifier, Siemens, Fike, Kidde, VESDA, Inergen, NOVEC1230, FM‐200, CO2, Dry Chemical preferred
MUST have minimum high school diploma/GED
NICET certification preferred
2 year degree in electronics or equivalent experience preferred
MUST have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
Ability to work a full time schedule
Overtime maybe required with a short notice.
