Downtown Working Group
First Tuesday of the month | 10:00 a.m.

A monthly gathering of downtown business owners. Allows downtown businesses to stay connected with each other’s activities, general neighborhood happenings, and serve as a sounding board for the Chamber staff as new programming is developed and existing programming is enhanced.

Economic Development Committee
First Thursday of the month | 8:00 a.m.

Function as a liaison with government and provide end-to-end support wherever possible;
Be open, responsive, and formative in developing plans and strategies for job creation in the Amesbury area;
Enable and empower business development throughout the City;
Join with business and industry leaders to link other businesses and resources to create jobs;
Increase and facilitate access to government in order to promote economic development.

Finance Committee
Third Monday of the month | 4:00 p.m.

Monitors the financial statements for all Amesbury Chamber bank accounts. Includes reviewing income and expenses, account balances, budget vs actual, and outstanding invoices.

Golf Committee (February – June)
Every other Friday | 8:00 a.m.

Organizes the Chamber’s Annual Golf Tournament for the beginning of June. Includes logistics, sponsorship scouting and recruitment, and set-up.

Membership Committee
Third Tuesday of the month | 9:00 a.m.

Recruiting and retaining businesses as members of the Amesbury Chamber of Commerce. This includes directly engaging individual businesses, connecting them with the Chamber, soliciting feedback, and developing events and programming that build stronger connections between businesses.

Events & Tourism Committee
Second Wednesday of the month | 1:00 p.m.

Promotes events and programs to attract visitors to the city of Amesbury for the benefit of commerce.

WE: Women Envision Committee
Second Tuesday of the month | 9:30 a.m.

Women Envision is a committee of the Amesbury Chamber of Commerce. The mission of the committee is to highlight, support and promote fellow women members. Its purpose is to create mentoring, education, reflection, inspirational programming, and networking.
