Started Business In: 1955

Our grandparents started this business in 1955 because they wanted a higher quality jam than what was available in the grocery store. With a combination of their names (Richard E. Kimball and Ruth E. Kimball) R.E. Kimball & Company was born. Since day one, we have only used grade a fruits, vegetables, and pure cane sugar. We still use the same 75 gallon steam kettle they did. As we say, ‘It sells itself because it’s good- no cutting corners.’ Over the years, we have expanded our line with ideas from our loyal customers. We now manufacture over 130 flavors.

We believe we are a successful business that has stood the test of time, through 3 generations, because we stay true to the quality and commitment put forth by our grandparents. It takes a lot of hard work and determination to make a business and that is what is practiced here.

He was living here at the time and got a good deal from the Bailey Company for the space.
A very close knit community where everybody is helpful and friendly.
