Pause Yoga Studio
Started Business In: 2011
This small yoga studio was struggling to find its place in the community when I took over ownership. I worked hard to make the studio a cohesive unit of dedicated teachers who were committed to sharing the gift of yoga with our community. I have since moved my business to a larger, more central location in town and love my yoga community!
I moved to Amesbury in 2010 with my young family. I was a newly trained yoga teacher and was highly motivated to find work in my new city. I soon took over ownership of the only yoga studio in town and grew the business into more of what Amesbury residents were looking for in their community.
Currently mine is the only yoga studio in our city. Surrounding towns have a few studios to choose from, but I’ve found that Amesbury folks like to shop local if they can. Other local business owners & residents all support each other by networking and sharing events. We are a small, up & coming city with a lot to offer.
Get to know the residents through networking and shopping local as much as possible. Support other local businesses and business owners and let them know you are doing so. Our city neighbors a couple of others which historically attract more tourists, but we are gaining ground, and loyalty from the established local residents is key to success.
